Happy February, Friends!

Our team enjoyed a couple days of snowy winter fun last month. It’s so nice that we can work from home and get to enjoy a little family time playing in the snow—or admiring from the window, as some of us prefer. I love a Texas winter!

January is a fun month because we get to visit our friends at Carrollton Animal Services & Adoption Center to deliver a check from our Q4 referral program and all the supplies we collect at our office in our 4th quarter. We love visiting their team and of course, making the rounds to say hello to all the great animals that are up for adoption. The tough part is leaving without another pet! If you are looking to adopt, I encourage you to visit the local shelter as there are many great pets there waiting for YOU!

Our new and improved referral program kicked off Jan 1st so be sure to check out the details on the back of our letter. This quarter, we’re supporting Lions Sight & Tissue Foundation. They have been serving the Dallas area since 1956, originally as an eye bank devoted to cataract surgery and cornea transplantation. Their current purpose serves as a resource for the people in Dallas, Ellis, Hunt, Rockwall, Kaufman and parts of Collin county to receive eye glasses and medical assistance for vision issues. The impact of this service on the lives of children and adults is profound. Without glasses, children are less likely to succeed in school, leading to dropouts, gang involvement and possible incarceration. For adults, having a pair of glasses can mean the difference in getting a job and the sense of pride in becoming self-sufficient can change their lives. Through generous donations, the Lions can serve the community. Each referral you send to JVM Insurance during the first quarter of 2025 will contribute to a cash donation for LS&TF.

Thank you for choosing our agency for your insurance needs. Please reach out if we can be of assistance!

Have a great month!

Sincerely,

Jeff Van Matre
